2026 Update: Changing my review to 3 stars based on most recent experience. Pros: Franklin is highly communicative and arrived on time. The tech they sent was nice. Cons: I found the actual work to be lacking this time. I scheduled an HVAC tune up. The tech found several things that needed to be fixed (including a couple of bad capacitors) and recommended a chemical clean because my husky had gotten dog hair on the condenser unit. I saw the pictures and am not contesting the fact that it was clearly quite dirty. But they basically put things back together, showed me the pictures, gave me a quote, and charged me $75. $75... for what? They tested the capacitors, and took photos, but they didn't actual clean or maintenance anything. They didn't even try hosing it down, which is meant to be part of their service. A service call is only $29 online, so I'm unclear what they actually charged me for. I had another company come out and they beat Franklin's quote by 50%. The second company cleaned the unit as part of their regular tune up- no chemical clean required. Disappointing, won't be using Franklin again. 2025: Our technician Devin was quick, professional, and did a great job of explaining what he found in a way that was easy to understand. He wore shoe covers while in the house, always knocked before entering, and was very respectful.

I’ve been in the area for 20+ years and used a few service companies during that time frame. Franklin Heating & Air is my favorite area HVAC co so far. They are typically on time, honest, courteous and knowledgeable. I was ready to leave this Review with “I trust their judgment” though day after service call I will add this caveat: “it depends on who is sent out”. Unfortunately I now have to say that Kyle and Dimitrios misdiagnosed the problem and cost me an additional $45 to have propane people come out for 5 minutes to “put a meter on” my register (something I believe HVAC should be able to do) only to find all was well there. Surely a simple meter test by HVAC could determine if propane service was in fact needed. Not happy about that. April 2026 Axell Morris serviced my unit today, adding refrigerant as is typically needed for my older A/C. Axell was very knowledgeable and I appreciated his honesty and integrity. I’m requesting a quote on a new unit. The company is trustworthy and I will continue to call upon Franklin HVAC and Axell.
Ayden Kubiak was very knowledgeable about the fact we needed to get a new toilet. He went over the cheapest to the more expensive options. He even checked to water pressure before he left the house.

Mickey found a problem with one of our AC units when doing the Spring check up last week. He came today and repaired the problem. He was quick and arrived within the scheduled window. We appreciate this service because it will reduce the chances we can need repairs during the hot summer months. Highly recommend Franklin!!!
